The Leeds PCT

The Leeds PCT has a Public Health team, who are constantly working to improve and protect the health of people in Leeds.

Our work is shaped by the particular needs of the city and its communities. It is also influenced by key Government policy documents such as Choosing Health (2004) and Our Health, Our Care, Our Say (2006).

We are closely involved in the development and delivery of local Strategies for public health, and we produce Annual Reports to keep people informed of our priorities and our progress.

Over the last five years, the Leeds Primary Care Trust (and former Leeds North West PCT) aimed to identify the health needs of university and college students in order to improve their health and wellbeing in Leeds. ...more
