The Leeds PCT

This section of the site will contain information which will largely be of interest to clinical staff and the practitioners we work with, including GPs, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists.

Copies of the PCT's clinical guidelines are available via Leeds Health Pathways and can be accessed using the following link. (Please note this site can only be accessed via NHSnet)

The Policy For Dealing With Concerns About the Professional Conduct, Capability or Performance of Practitioners and Providers Named on the Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical or Ophthalmic Lists, (or supplementary lists) of Leeds Primary Care Trust can be found here

If you are drafting new clinical guidelines please refer to our guidance available here

All practitioners working with children are advised to read the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health's Child Protection Companion available here

A Primary Care Accommodation Development Group has been established to support practitioners wishing to change or extend their premises. This paper (download here) outlines the process by which the practice registers a proposal with the PCT, and how the PCT forms a decision to support the development and/or additional associated costs.
